Almost up and running!

It’s taken a long time but I’ve finally managed to create a blog. I’m not quite sure if anyone is interested in anything I have to say — but I think this will be a fun thing to do. Please bear with me while I get started. LIfe on a tropical island does have its drawbacks: terrible internet connection and frequent brownouts. Stay tuned…
